2012 3rd Annual Memorial Horse Show for Donna McArthur

Donna was a local woman who dedicated all of her weekends in the summer to travel Northern Michigan to attend open horse shows.

ALL proceeds from this show will be going to Horses’ Haven which is a Michigan Rescue and Rehabilitative program. It is a non-profit organization and their mission is to take in and provide humane care for aged, abused, unwanted, rescued and neglected horses, or horses whose owners can no longer care for them. They have so many horses to care for all ready, and more on the waiting list to come in, they need our help!

This was one of Donna’s greatest passions. She loved horses, especially her horse of 10 years, JR, as if he were one of her children. Donna would want to have her name used to see that these animals get the help and care they need and deserve.

Show for an Angel raised $7000 last year for Horses’ Haven. Our goal for 2012 is $10,000. With your help we will be able to give abused, unwanted, and injured horses a home.
